MASTERING STRESS & PREVENTING BURNOUT

This program is designed to equip teams with robust, evidence-based strategies for navigating high-pressure environments and fostering sustainable performance.

Participants will gain the ability to identify various stressors and their physical symptoms, which can range from a tense stomach and rapid breathing to irritability and an increased heart rate. The workshop delves into the physiological effects of stress, explaining how adrenaline impacts the body and how chronic, unmanaged stress can lead to physical problems such as psoriasis or an increased vulnerability to infection. It also highlights that short-shallow chest breaths, similar to hyperventilation, prevent oxygen from properly flowing to the brain, impairing its effective function.

Furthermore, the program explores the characteristics of burnout, which include emotional exhaustion, stagnation, frustration, and apathy.

Crucially, participants will learn and implement proactive stress management techniques, such as targeted exercise, meditation, and socialisation. These techniques are designed to prevent emotional exhaustion, regulate the nervous system for calm, and maintain optimal well-being and performance.

The program emphasises that stress, if left unmanaged, can have fatal consequences, making effective stress management absolutely vital for health and well-being. This session is not about avoiding pressure, but rather about transforming it into sustainable performance.
